Identity Designer

Design and produce custom stickers using digital or traditional illustration methods.

How to complete Identity Designer

Designing your own stickers turns a drawing into a small physical product you can stick anywhere or hand out. The skill spans both the artwork and the production step: getting a clean cut-line and a printable file, whether you draw on paper or a tablet.

  1. Sketch a simple, bold design with clear outlines that read well at two inches wide
  2. Finalize the art digitally or scan your traditional drawing at high resolution
  3. Add a slight outline or padding around the shape to create a clean cut margin
  4. Send to a sticker print service, or print on sticker paper and cut by hand or with a cutting machine
  5. Test-peel one and check the adhesive and color before making a full batch

Tips

  • Keep important details away from the edges so the cut never clips them
  • Transparent backgrounds need a white underbase layer or colors print dull
  • Order or print a small proof first to catch sizing and color surprises

What counts as done
