How to complete Triple-Country Loop

This is a single trip that strings three countries together without going home in between, so the journey itself becomes the achievement rather than any one stop. It rewards smart routing over a region where borders sit close, and teaches you to pack and budget for a multi-leg trip in one shot.

1. Pick a region where three countries cluster tightly, like the Benelux, the Balkans, Southeast Asia, or Central America
2. Map a one-way loop or line so you never double back, and book transport between countries before you leave
3. Check visa and entry rules for all three countries in advance, including any transit visas
4. Carry one mix of cash currencies or a card with no foreign fees so each border crossing is frictionless
5. Keep at least a full day in each country so it counts as a real visit, not just an airport layover

Tips

• Overland buses and trains make borders cheaper and give you a passport stamp; flights can skip the land crossing entirely
• Watch for the Schengen zone, where crossing several countries gives you only one entry stamp
