How to complete Public Speaker

Delivering an educational talk means you understood something well enough to make others understand it too, in real time, under the pressure of an audience. The achievement is the live delivery to a class or group, not the slides, and the nerves are the point you're conquering.

1. Pick a topic you can explain without notes and narrow it to one clear takeaway
2. Build a simple structure: hook, three main points, recap
3. Make slides visual aids, not a script to read aloud
4. Rehearse out loud 3+ times, ideally once in front of one person
5. Arrive early to test the room, screen, and clicker so tech doesn't derail you

Tips

• Open with a question or surprising fact instead of 'Hi, today I'll talk about'
• Slow down and breathe; nervous speakers race, and pauses read as confidence
• Plan for one or two likely audience questions so Q&A doesn't catch you flat
