Mountain Glider

Spend a full day skiing or snowboarding on a mountain peak.

How to complete Mountain Glider

A full day on the slopes means committing to the mountain from first chair to last call, not a couple of warm-up runs. It builds real ride time, leg endurance, and the confidence to read changing snow and light through the day.

  1. Buy a full-day lift pass and aim to be at the base for first chair, when snow is freshest and crowds thinnest
  2. Layer for both cold and sweat: base layer, insulating mid, waterproof shell, plus goggles and gloves
  3. Warm up on greens and blues before pushing onto steeper or ungroomed terrain
  4. Refuel and hydrate at lunch; tired legs late in the day cause most injuries
  5. Check the trail map and lift closing times so you bank a final descent before they shut down

Tips

  • Rent or demo gear the day before so you're not stuck in the shop at opening
  • Afternoon sun turns snow to slush, so ski shaded or higher runs to keep it firmer
  • Stop while you're still riding well, not when you're completely wrecked

What counts as done

You rode the mountain from morning to the closing lift and logged a full day of runs.
