Endurance Transit

Spend more than 24 continuous hours in transit (Flight/Train/Bus).

How to complete Endurance Transit

A continuous 24-hour journey is a rite of passage for long-haul travelers, whether it's a multi-leg flight, an overnight train marathon, or a cross-country bus haul that turns the going itself into the experience. Surviving it comfortably is a skill: managing sleep, food, and your body in a confined space for a full day.

  1. Book the legs as one continuous journey and confirm layover times are long enough to not miss connections but short enough to stay in motion
  2. Pack a carry-on survival kit: refillable water bottle, snacks, charged power bank, earplugs, eye mask, and a change of socks
  3. Dress in loose layers and broken-in shoes, since you'll swell and the temperature will swing
  4. Set a rough sleep plan tied to your destination's time zone rather than dozing randomly
  5. Stand, stretch, and walk every few hours to keep blood moving and stave off stiffness

Tips

  • Download films, podcasts, and offline maps before you leave; don't count on in-transit wifi
  • Move on long-haul legs (calf raises and aisle walks) to cut the real risk of leg clots
  • Keep passport, tickets, and meds in one pouch you never check or stow overhead

What counts as done

You were in transit for more than 24 hours without breaking the journey to stay over somewhere.
