Target Weight Reached

Define a healthy target weight with your doctor or coach, reach it, and hold it for 3 months.

How to complete Target Weight Reached

This one has three separate parts people usually skip: getting a professional to define a target that fits your body rather than a number from a magazine, reaching it, and then proving it was not a crash diet by holding it for three months. The maintenance phase is the actual achievement, because that is where most weight changes fall apart.

  1. Book a visit with a doctor, dietitian, or qualified coach and agree on a target weight and a realistic timeframe, usually 0.25-0.5 kg of change per week.
  2. Pick one tracking method you will actually sustain: calorie logging, portion rules, or meal templates.
  3. Weigh yourself daily under identical conditions and judge progress only by the weekly average.
  4. Adjust intake every two to three weeks based on the trend, not on single weigh-ins.
  5. At target, shift to maintenance calories and keep the weekly weigh-in habit for three full months, correcting whenever the average drifts more than a kilo or two.

Tips

  • Daily scale numbers swing with water and food timing; the weekly average is the only signal worth reacting to.
  • Keep strength training through any deficit so the loss is fat, not muscle.
  • Maintenance is a skill of its own; plan the foods you will add back rather than reverting to old defaults.
  • If progress stalls three weeks straight, change something measured, not everything at once.

What counts as done

Your weekly average weight has stayed within a small range around the professionally set target for three consecutive months.
