Spending a full day inside your partner's hobby means actually entering their world with curiosity, not just tagging along and checking your phone. The whole achievement is engaging with the thing they love precisely because it bores you. That's what makes it land.

1. Ask them to teach you the basics beforehand so you're not dead weight on the day.
2. Commit a real, uninterrupted day to it and put your phone away.
3. Ask questions and let them lead: you're the student, they're the expert.
4. Find at least one part you can honestly enjoy, and tell them so.

Tips

• Don't complain, sigh, or check the time, because they'll notice instantly.
• Gear up properly (right shoes, gloves, tackle, whatever) so you're not the bottleneck.
• Praise something specific they're good at rather than generic 'this is fun.'
