Getting a big idea greenlit in an executive room is a decision-making exercise, not a presentation contest. Leaders fund outcomes and de-risked bets, so the pitch lives or dies on whether you've anticipated their objections before they raise them.

1. Open with the outcome and the ask in the first minute instead of burying the lede behind setup
2. Frame the idea around a problem the executives already care about, in their numbers
3. Show the cost, the expected return, and the biggest risk with a plan to contain it
4. Pre-wire the room by socializing the idea with key stakeholders before the meeting
5. Prepare for the three hardest questions and rehearse the answers out loud
6. Close with a specific, small next step you want approved today
